"Blood and Pain"
When we hear the words "Blood and Pain,"
What comes to mind?
Death, pain, agony,
All sorts of negative things.
But one mustn't look upon
Blood and Pain as being Evil, you see.
Blood is the very reason there is you and me.
Perhaps the reason we are scared is because we can't see the good of Blood and Pain.
For without Blood, we can't live.
Can we?
Blood is needed to feel.
If we feel hot from a fever,
Cold from the snow,
Or on fire from love.
Blood is even needed to feel pain.
Yes, pain.
For a bit of pain is good now and then, no?
I should say so!
For if we felt no pain, the world would just be freaky.
There would be no such thing as recovery or healing,
Because in order to heal, we need to have experienced some pain beforehand.
Blood and Pain go hand in hand.
I'm actually glad for the Blood.
Red is a nice color.
I'm actually glad for the pain.
It makes me stronger.
So the next time you see Blood,
Don't run away.
You are Blood.
The next time you feel Pain,
Don't run away.
Be strong in order to become stronger.
And the next time you hear these words,
Think not of the negatives.
Think of the positives here, and those that I have failed to mention.

Herm...don't know what inspired me to write this. Was it the fact that Kpop gives me so many feels (dork status) or that I, too, fear Blood and Pain...?

Great and powerfully emotional poem. When i think of blood and pain. it is the blood i put into my work and my pain of getting it put together after i write it onto paper and finishing it on computer. but i feel more alive and know i am still alive when i still have blood in my veins and feel pain. because if you did not feel pain you would just be dead.
